Does anyone have good sources for (software defined) measurement on ?

Ideally I'd be able to log power usage per process..

We're building a powered web server likely using boards using

@rra powertop? Specially if combined with a battery you'll not only get how much time the CPU is spending, but you will also get watt spending.

ohhh --csv mode, you can make reports, graphs and slides about your power consumption.

next hbsc meeting we can point at things with a stick. feel important.

@cmos4040 @320x200 it turns out that the boards I'm using allow me to query the power IC: linux-sunxi.org/AXP209 this gives me the voltage and current draw both on the AC adapter and the battery. Not per-process but it is a start.
Luckily the armbian maintainers made bindings in /sys/ for this so I can just go like this:

ac_amp=( $(echo "scale=2; `cat /sys/power/axp_pmu/ac/amperage` / 1000000 " | bc )) Ah
