Please don't give up. There is a whole world of people that just appreciate the process of open source that provides superior products and allows third party validation. If many business models today are reliant on data, a third party code audit should be as essential as a financial audit.
@rozina I'm not sure what you mean by getting involved, but I myself an a user, not creator. You might call me a financial supporter. Either way, I try (struggle sometimes) to see the good in everyone. If someone is getting political or dogmatic I see that as passion, which I respect. In any diverse group of humans you are going to have differing value systems, abilities to communicate and get along. Same happens in the workplace as well.
We are an instance for discussions around cultural freedom, experimental, new media art, net and computational culture, and things like that.
