I'm sorry if you are only trying to use fedi to promote your "content" please think again as there's no algorithm to back you up. Turns out you need to think about your audience as literally actual people. People who tend to ignore ads.
@pixouls 100% this. It's okay to have a Patreon or do art commissions but if every post you make is about that, no one is going to like you.
@pixouls That said, if you've got any fiction please do reach out to me! I'll see if I want to add it to my recommendations!
So, there's this idea/project I've been incubating
#SeizeTheMeansOfCommunity
( https://asorrybowl.blog/seizethemeansofcommunity-notes-towards-a )
If you (or onlookers) have thoughts (including criticism) I'm eager to hear them...
@pixouls@post.lurk.org
Thank you!!! Stated perfectly.
@pixouls when I came to Mastodon I thought on simply tooting links to my blog posts (like on Twitter) but I understood that it's more interesting to ask people what tools they use or their opinion about Linux/open source topics, or to make useful open source apps visible.
And time has proven me right.
@pixouls glad u are here my friend
