Episode 1 of LibreArts podcast is out and features an interview with the @krita team that I did in early June at LGM.

There's one caveat: I have no Apple devices in my household and I don't live in a country supported by either Google Podcasts or Spotify. That means three aggregation options are out of question for now (VPN isn't helpful either). But I'm really new to this and I'm probably missing something.

Please let me know what you think about the podcast!

After a long sleep, a new post on OSP blog! The report of the Libre Graphics Meeting by @manetta with the question of the word "open" by @aiscarvalho and @rlafuente, , and new curves for , and inside. @lgm

I completely forgot to mention due to... well... this month, but my talk at #lgm on #teaching #art using #floss software is now up for anyone who missed it.

@mray All our videos are released under the CC-by license. (If you expand the description of the video, you can see the license).

Here is a screenshot, for example.

@mray That's a very good question. Do you have a direct contact with them? Could you do the introductions?

@mray Very good question. Libre Graphics Meeting is run by a group of volunteers. We're also hosted on Tuxfamily. To my knowledge, they don't allow installing things like Peertube. Do you know any Peertube instance admin who would like to host our videos?

One of the most inspiring talk, for me, from the Libre Graphics Meeting this year is available online:

"Making Fonts without Font Editors" by @aiscarvalho and @rlafuente

Playing around with Raph Levien's new curve type that he presented at the last LGM, converted to C++. Also comparing to his old spiro type. The blue dots are after conversion to cubic beziers. Where the old spiro is more like having to keep up with a higgs boson gone mad, the new type is much more stable. These curves potentially help a lot to cut down on bezier handle clutter when working with paths.

I finally got to meet and hang out with the one and only @prokoudine while at LGM this year and it was awesome! (My biggest fanboy moment!) Here’s an interview I did with him about PIXLS.US over at
