@jboy Hosting and maintaining a mail server and mailing lists is so much work. The protocol is decades old and it shows - even if it wasn't for this power relations in the network it would be a good time to rethink the mailing system.
@jboy What's with that last dig re: cookies? Here I thought requiring companies to disclose all of their cookies and give users the option to disable them was a good thing.
@kescher @jboy Yeah but why direct that towards politicians who wrote that requirement instead of against companies who use trackers? The way I read it, it's very explicitly a diss against politicians:
