If you have a broken payphone in your neighborhood, why not turn it into a li’l zine library? I used a magazine rack from the thrift store, attached with twine and a paperclip.
@iffybooks This is so dope, here we make free libraries in bus stops, but the government send people to take them off :(
@Napo When I post flyers, I try to notice where they get taken down and where they stay up. Maintenance crews in Philly cover specific areas, but a block away something can stay up for months. We’ll see what happens!
@iffybooks I found a handmade magazine about philosophy in a local Cafe.
In the corner there were a few fanzines, local products and games.
Then in another cafe I found cut papers with the QR code to a Podcast.
I like how the physical format is 'coming back' to call our attention over the noise of the digital.
Nice idea, BTW!
