@Femke thanks, ah, yeah same! I think I liked that encountering the webring would have to be a really intentional thing for someone like myself - like deciding to go out for a midnight wander... and would be fun to see other pop up for different times/conditions!

One art project i came across was the concept of a protocol for solar-powered web-servers that would be placed in all time-zones around the planet, so when entering a URL, you would be connected to the hosting server that had the most power at that time. :D

@BillySmith @ghostglyph Yes, it is an excellent project! Another kind of solar power story: The person taking care of Constant's server lived in Barcelona at some point. He always knew when the weather in Brussels was good, because there would be a lot less traffic 😎
