Krita resource management: Are there any documented practical strategies to managing one's brushes while somehow mostly avoiding the minefield of bugs around that? I spent an hour trying to set up just a very basic bundle of brushes for myself but the exercise was pretty much useless given that brushes kept disappearing, lost their tags, names got garbled, bundles got wildly duplicated, lost their cover image, lost their content ... halp? :D
Did some research on https://krita-artists.org and found some clues to possible strategies, sharing them here: (1) https://krita-artists.org/t/my-brushes-are-gone/7637 (2) https://krita-artists.org/t/is-there-an-easy-way-to-overwrite-and-alter-brush-icons-without-creating-a-completely-new-brush/6812 (3) https://krita-artists.org/t/confusion-with-diy-brush-bundle/6547/2 (4) https://krita-artists.org/t/backing-up-existing-and-previously-installed-brushes-to-update-krita/8611 Bottom line, and what I'll try now, is not to use a bundle and instead to just back up the resources folder, possibly removing/restoring it in between to (re-)establish clean states. Wish me luck. :)
