oh cool examples! this is a good reason to use many minor value stamps instead of one postage stamp. the machines usually cant stamp over all of them and the receipent can reuse the non cancelled stamps

i’d say, they are more a form of currency? meta data is saved in the stamps though (date, locations etc.)
