The nice thing about coming quite far along in making a blanket is that you can use it as a blanket while you continue adding rows to it :D #crochet
Another round of #introduction for the new folks pouring in!
I enjoy working with everyday materials like #electronics, #textiles, #crochet, #watercolor, and #geometricpatterns. I also like to combine #making #crafting with contemporary tech like #AI #machinelearning to explore the interactions between them from #criticaltheory and #design perspectives. My latest journal article on 'making creative leaps with AI': https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/14626268.2022.2138452
I occasionally write tutorials and conduct workshops on these topics. I'm an advocate of #openhardware practices. Here's a talk titled 'Knotty Hardware' I gave earlier this year at OHS 2022: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXUlqIrALRo&ab_channel=TheOpenSourceHardwareAssociation
If any of this resonates, give me a follow. I'm also open to small collaborations and make seshes!
