@wallflower Thank you! I bought the pattern from Etsy, just loved the colours :) https://www.etsy.com/listing/231646485/bonbon-blanket-pdf-pattern-crochet
@anu1905 I love the colours. Is that your own pattern?
I've made a few CAL blankets in the past, but they've been based on squares. I like the effect you're getting from rows.
Nothing more relaxing than sitting down with some crochet or knitting!
@lynnGT Thank you! Yes, crochet is soo nice to relax and these colours make me happy.
This is not my pattern (wish it was!). I bought it on Etsy for the palette and pattern. Here it is: https://www.etsy.com/listing/231646485/bonbon-blanket-pdf-pattern-crochet
I have not tried CAL blankets before, would you recommend it? I like doing multiple projects at the same time, so I'm unsure if I will have the discipline to keep up the pace.
@anu1905 I did some CALs during lockdown, but after they had ended (If that makes sense). I liked them because there were lots of instructions for stitches I didn’t know (including videos) and I hadn’t crocheted for years. I would say, unless it’s a pattern you really want to make and stitches you don’t know, I wouldn’t bother, especially as you look like you know what you’re doing 😊.
Im going to check out the Etsy pattern. Thank you.
@lynnGT Yes, that makes a lot of sense, thank you :) I really like the idea of doing CALs after they end. I learned to crochet during the pandemic by following YouTube videos, and I suppose they are sort of CALs in their own way.
@urbanfoxe I feel you! I too put aside this project in the summer to work on something else, but it is perfect season now ;)
