tired: piles of tree leaves a bit everywhere, that change the acoustics of the street, and contribute to many autumn feels.
wired: middle-aged guys who are spending whole hours using their fucking 140dB leaf blowers because the neighbours have one too and everyone else in the neighbourhood should do too because it's even better when you do it with others and it's just an amazing hobby to stand still at max power in front of three stuck flapping wet leaves for 15 minutes instead of picking them up. Bonus points to all those who are also systematically picking the most windy days to use their leaf blower. Must be the call of the wild.
@320x200 To paraphrase John Steinbeck, I believe a rake and a broom, when *properly used*, are more effective at removing leaves.
